Dr Sally Dixon is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport and a member of their Aviation Policy Group. Sally is the principal player in both Azimuth Associates and ICONICARGOS and is also a Member of the Royal Aeronautical Society. She has worked with airports on acquisitions, and strategic and innovation development including air traffic forecasting, since 2000. Sally has an MBA from the University of Kent and a PhD from Cranfield, where she continues to provide specialist lectures for the Centre for Air Transport Management. She is also a visiting lecturer at Coventry University. Sally’s early career was with Reuters, where she worked as a planning and forecasting analyst.
The UK Government’s Secretary of State for Transport has asserted that, due to the dynamic changes that are currently taking place in the aviation sector, Dr Dixon’s methodology is their preferred approach to air cargo forecasting
