Cherry Zhang is an economist with an electrical automation engineer background and speaks 4 languages. Cherry started work as an electrical engineer after studying electrical automation at college in China, then studied for a degree in economics at the University of Warwick, UK.
Cherry has had 15 years of commercial experience in the transportation sector; during which time, she chaired a company’s credit risk committee; worked as aviation sector lead on international trade and investment at government / commercial and industrial level. Importantly, she is highly experienced with related policies within both the UK and China. Cherry is experienced in international trade and investment; and has led or participated in several international airport projects in different countries. In addition,she lectures in language at universities; has designed and lead a charity, andis the founder, owner and Managing Director of a successful international export and import company.
